Dedicated to the protection and understanding of Australian ecosystems
The Otways Conservation and Ecology Centre is based in the Great Ocean Road region adjacent to the Great Otway National Park in Victoria Australia.
The centre is a non profit, volunteer organisation and performs ecosystem research and promotes fundraising activities to restore and improve natural environments and the wildlife that relies on them.
Recent fundraisers include reforestation of Koala habitats in the Cape Otway area.
You can experience Australia's vibrant wildlife, in the wild, at the Otways . There are no cages – visitors share space with the animals as they walk through stunning bushland along well designed paths and raised walkways. Set against the backdrop of the Southern Ocean, this is a must do Nature activity or volunteer experience.
